At our Cheshire Day Nursery, the children in our Toddler Room range from 18 months to 3 years.
The Toddler Room is a large spacious room that accommodates 24 children with an adult child ratio of one staff per four children.
The room is split into different areas to stimulate children and enhance their learning and development in accordance to the EYFS framework. The children in the Toddler Room follow a daily routine which involves both adult led and child initiated activities such as songs and stories, art and craft, dance music and movement as well as garden time. We have a large range of table top resources.
The staff in the Toddler Room work alongside parents to begin the potty training process. The children have their own toilets, where they are also encouraged with small independent tasks such as brushing their teeth, hand washing and cleaning their faces after meal times.
